Dear Beach Handball enthusiasts!
On behalf of the European Handball Federation, I cordially welcome you to Stare Jablonki where we are pleased to organise a top European beach handball event in Poland. In cooperation with the Polish Handball Federation, we bring you the finals of the European Beach Tour for men and women from 31 May to 3 June 2018; the 2018 ebt Finals are the culmination of the 15th European Beach Tour season that began on 1 October 2016 and concluded on 30 September 2017.
Among the twenty four teams (12 women’s and 12 men’s) participating, we welcome the return of the two teams who won the last event in Gaeta – Detono Zagreb from Croatia in the men’s competition and Club Balonmano Playa Algeciras from Spain in the women’s competition – who will be in Stare Jablonki to defend their respective titles. Moreover, with two wild card places in each competition, this is shaping up to be an exciting and unmissable tournament!
On behalf of the European Handball Federation, and in my function as EHF President, I extend my thanks to the local Organising Committee, the Polish Handball Federation, as well as all the persons, for their engagement and commitment to organising this event. Once again, Stare Jablonki becomes the place to be for beach handball where 24 clubs are given the perfect setting to showcase their sporting merit; I extend a very warm welcome to them all. So, in the spirit of fair play, may the best teams win!

Between 31st of May and 3rd of June 2018 the beach handball family will come together to enjoy our sport in the greatest setting – for the first time the European Beach Tour Finals will be held in Stare Jabłonki, in the heart of a beautiful Polish Warmia&Mazury region.
The popularity of beach handball grows bigger and bigger all over the world and I’m proud to say that also in Poland there is a great number of this magnificent sport discipline. It is amazing to see the progress and development that beach handball have made in the last years.
I am looking forward to a fantastic competition in Stare Jabłonki. The final tournament of the European Beach Tour brings together the very best clubs from around the Continent in both, women’s and men’s rivalry. That guarantees the highest level of the competition and remarkable examples of teamwork all played out in the spirit of fair play and sportsmanship. We have 24 teams hungry for glory and an unforgettable and spectacular event upon us!
